Data sources and method

• Veterinary Surgeons Board of Hong Kong (VSB)

  The public register supplies registration numbers, names, qualifications and declared practice addresses. A scheduled Worker validates and stages the complete source before atomically publishing it; records missing from a later register are removed from current search results.

• Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD)

  The published veterinary-clinic list contributes clinic contact details and identifies clinics that remain listed even when no vet declares that address in the VSB register.

• Clinic websites and reviewed corrections

  Services, hours and website links are included only when a source is recorded. Human-reviewed overrides take precedence and are kept separate from automated source data so weekly updates cannot erase them.

How to read the directory

A registration record confirms that a person appears in the current public VSB data; it is not a recommendation. Animal, setting and service tags help discovery but may be inferred from names, addresses or cited clinic information. Always confirm availability, fees, hours and treatment scope directly with the clinic, especially in an emergency.

Corrections and privacy

The directory republishes professional-registration information already made public by the responsible authorities. It does not use advertising trackers. To report an incorrect, missing or closed listing, send the page link and supporting source by WhatsApp; each change is reviewed and logged.
